Thank you for participating in the SupaWonk survey.

We hope you had a pleasant experience going through these few questions.

Some OP members that are invited to surveys have an incomplete profile. Please take the time to check we have your gender, DOB and postcode on file so that we do not invite you in surveys where we know you'll be screened or end up in a quota that has reached its target. Any problems, just email panel@yrsource.com.

Please let us know any other feedback, concerns or general comments you may have.

I would have liked to be able to offer more information regarding the free education. Here in regional SA we have to pay school fees so not sure how they can say that this is free

An interesting survey. Short and sweet with some thought provoking topics.

Why do these surveys often give us limited choices, where so many others exist. It seems like the message of the survey was that we can cut spending on tertiary education and return to surplus, or leave it the way it is and stay at a deficit. Pick one !

According to the receipt from the last tax return, the government now spends more on defense than on education. Yet they are looking to cut funding for tertiary education. This is insulting.

How about we cancel our order for the white elephant known as the joint strike fighter. Surely Lockheed Martin have already breached contract considering how late and over budget the project is. We could instead order something the Airforce actually wants and needs, and not something that John Howard picked because he was so excited to meet George W Bush.

Did we ever get our money back for the Raptors that were never delivered ? I won't even talk about the billions we threw down the toilet for some brand new (saw service in Vietnam) sea sprite helicopters. Maybe we don't need to spend all that money building those additional US military installations. How much does it cost for our special forces to be in Africa, and did we every get an explanation of what they are actually doing there ? Meanwhile in Syria, we pay for our Airforce to fight terror by bombing the Syrian army in Deir-Ezzor to assist an Isis offensive.

Smedley Butler was right, war is a racket. One that is bleeding us dry.
