I've never heard anything about Egyptian food! Sounds interesting!

My favourite is Italian, followed closely by Japanese. I'd love to get good at Japanese cooking, but it's so delicate and precise, and I'm not sure I'm handy enough with my kitchen knife!

My mum's shepherds pie....(or Cottage Pie) as posh people call it.  It's just the BEST!!

Shepherds pie and Cottage Pie are different, it has nothing to do with being "posh"

Shepherds pie is made on minced cooked lamb, traditionally the leftovers from the roast leg the night before.  Cottage pie is made on minced beef, again traditionally leftovers that are already cooked.

Most people these days use fresh mince though.. particularly in my house, where there aren't many leftovers :/

Smile My favorite food would have to be anything asian I love a nice curry and fried rice I adore chilli so I dont mind it hot. Spent 4 years living in Indonesia in my teens so I have the taste for it. I dont think we eat much in the way of aussie meat and 3 vege in my house its stir fries and alike. And I would have to say that we eat out just about every weekend and yes we head to our favorite chinese cafe. The best I have found is at Carlingford NSW the place is called Hong Kong Cafe and they serve real chinese food not some other nationality trying to make it look like chinese. The prices are good but get there early as they tend to fill up fast then its a stand and wait for a table lol
